Logline: A Mixteco indigenous boy who dreams to be like his green-eyed fútbol hero, Chicharito, overcomes the forces of prejudice and poverty to become a soccer sensation and heal a divided community.

Mixteco Kid was also selected to the Ojai Film Festival, Moorpark Film Festival, and the Georgia Latino Film Festival.
